Fleet Actions
Three types of fleet actions can be initiated:
- Scouting
- Attacking
- Defending
Scouting
Only scouts (Spion) can be assigned scouting tasks. The scouting fleet is invisible. If the target is reached, the scouting fleet has a 50% chance of being discovered and failing its mission. In the case of a successful mission, the fleet can gather detailed data about the hostile planet and its fleets. If it is discovered, the Spion is destroyed. In the event that the target is equipped with defense satellites, the chances of a successful scouting mission drop to 40%.
Attacking
An offensive fleet can attack a target to attempt to capture its plasmators, its raw materials and its ships. Another objective might be the weakening or total destruction of the enemy’s fleet or PDS.
Attacking may last for a maximum of 3 rounds.
Planets within the same alliance or galaxy cannot attack one another.
Defending
A fleet assigned to defense will provide protection to target planets against potential aggressors.
Defending may last for a maximum of 6 rounds.
